How it works
Tap start and put the phone away. Roadlet follows the road with the screen off, even where there's no signal.
Every time you pull over, Roadlet notices and asks what it was. Add the place, a photo or what it cost — now or weeks later.
Your crew sees it all as it happens. When you're home, turn the trip into a Story, a replay video or a GPX to keep forever.
Features
Navigation apps get you there. Roadlet remembers how it went — and keeps everyone on the same page along the way.
Pull over and Roadlet notices. One tap later tells it what it was: coffee, fuel, restroom, food, a night's sleep, a viewpoint.
See your crew live on the map and send one-tap signals: need a break, need fuel, fell behind, all good, emergency.
Invite friends as editors or viewers, pin planned stops, split the route into days and get warned when a stretch outruns your fuel range.
Instagram-ready Story cards, an animated replay of the route, and your Year in Roads when the year wraps up. Plus unlocks every template and HD video.
Log who paid for fuel, dinner or the campsite. Roadlet works out who owes whom — no spreadsheet required.
Suggestions only come from places other travelers actually stopped at, verified by their tracks. No paid listings, no fake reviews.
For riders: a hard impact followed by stillness starts a countdown. If you don't cancel it, your crew gets your last position.
Mountain passes and desert roads rarely have signal. Everything is saved on your phone and syncs when you're back in range.
Log a stop from the Dynamic Island, a widget, your car's screen, or just by asking Siri. Bring routes in from GPX, take them out as GPX or KML.
Whatever you travel in
Coastal drives, weekend escapes, cross-country loops. Keep every detour and every coffee worth stopping for.
Ride as a group with Convoy signals, find stops other riders rely on, and let Crash Check keep an eye out.
Count the nights, log campsites, see what the trip really cost, and find where others actually slept.
Privacy
No ads, no trackers, no data brokers. Roadlet stores your trips to share them with the people you choose — nothing more.
Read the privacy policyA trip is only visible to the people you invite. Public links are optional, and you can turn them off at any time.
Recommendations come from stops shared without names or photos, and a place only shows up once at least two different trips stopped there.
Export any trip as GPX, KML or JSON whenever you like, and delete your account right from the app.
Why Roadlet

Yes. The route, stops and photos are saved on your phone and sync as soon as you're back online.
Only your crew — the people you invite, each with a role. You can create a public link for a trip if you want to show it to others, and turn it off at any time.
Roadlet is designed to record for hours with the screen off. Like any app that uses GPS, it does use battery, so on long days a car charger is a good friend.
No. Roadlet records and runs Convoy on both iPhone and Android, so a mixed crew travels together. Anyone else can follow a shared trip from a web browser.
Yes. Import GPX files from Garmin, Komoot or any GPS app — as trips you already drove or as plans — and export any trip as GPX, KML or JSON whenever you want.
An optional safety feature for riders, included in Roadlet Plus. After a hard impact followed by no movement, your phone starts a countdown. If you don't cancel it, your crew gets an alert with your last position and a message to your emergency contacts is ready to send. It never replaces calling emergency services.
